100% memory foam pillows are usually made from one piece of foam that cleverly contours to the shape of your head and neck to provide optimum support.

How much should you spend on a memory foam pillow?
Prices for memory foam pillows vary considerably, and can be anything from £20 up to £100. Generally speaking, the cheaper ones won’t last as long as the more expensive versions.
That being said, when it comes to choosing a memory foam pillow, it’s really the comfort factor you should base your decision on, not the price.
For this reason, it’s worth buying from a manufacturer that offers a trial for a specified number of nights so you can make sure a memory foam pillow is definitely right for you.
Check the warranty
The higher quality memory foam pillows come with a warranty, just like memory foam mattresses. Some manufacturers, such as Tempur and REM-Fit, offer a warranty lasting between 3 and 5 years, so this is a good indication of how long you should expect a memory foam pillow to last.
Bear in mind that polyester, synthetic, down and feather pillows should be replaced every couple of years anyway, so memory foam pillows do have a longer lifespan.
How to care for a memory foam pillow
A memory foam pillow can’t be put in a washing machine like a synthetic pillow can, so it’s very important that you avoid spilling anything directly onto it.
Take care when having breakfast in bed!
Remember, you should always use the removable protective cover that comes with the pillow, as well as a pillowcase on top of that.
The cover should be cleaned regularly in a washing machine at 40°C to destroy dead skin cells, dust mites and other nasties.
